Lord, Let Me Live Each Day Like This

Keep me from shutting out what the Holy Spirit is saying.
Help me keep my door always open, before Jesus even knocks.
Let me lay down every burden before the cross and rest.
Make me receive the light of God with joy.
Let me hear the voice of the Holy Spirit every day.
Put a smile into every cell of my face.
Make every word that leaves my mouth pass first through the Holy Spirit.
Help me always remember your word
and engrave it on my heart and show it in what I do.
Make me always acknowledge and confess the Lord with my mouth.
