If You Would Treat Others Well

Showing me an empty jar, the Lord asks,
“What is inside?”
“It is an empty jar, Lord.”
“So it is. Unfilled as you are, what do you have
to help a thirsting spirit?”
Showing me an empty table, he asks,
“What do you see?”
“It is an empty table.”
“So it is. Only when you set the table can you invite guests and treat them well, is it not so?”
“It is so.”
“Now, unless you understand the Word and are filled, you cannot treat anyone well.”
