Become a Flowing River

Be a person like a clear river.
A clear river shows everything inside it,
so in a way you may feel that even what you want to hide will be found out,
and you may think it shameful,
but do not worry at all.
When I, the true light, shine on that river,
no one can see what is inside it;
they will see only the brightly shining water.
That is exactly the child I want.
One who reflects my light all the more—
that is the kind of child I want.
If that water were spoiled and rotten,
it could not reflect my light as it should.
Always be a river that flows with the Word.
Then you will never go rotten,
and, showing my light splendidly,
you can become a clear river.
