A Pastor Must Be Good Soil

The pastor is the ground, and my people are the trees.
If I called the people I entrust to a pastor sheep,
then, because pastors would excuse themselves, saying the sheep would not listen
and strayed off somewhere else,
I see them as trees instead.
Just as trees wither when the ground dries up,
if a pastor fails to become good soil,
then, to save the withering trees,
I will begin moving them into good soil.
