In Everything Give Thanks

When the rain began to fall,
what did you say to me?
Did you complain that the rainwater would not collect?
When you see the rainwater become a river
and flow into the vast sea,
what will you answer me then?
Be patient a little longer.
And when the rain falls,
and when the rainwater becomes a river and flows,
hold to a faith that gives thanks in everything.
