See the Lord Standing on the Narrow Way

Those who hold the world’s power—
if you watch their backs and try to copy them,
going along looking only at their footprints,
you will not see the Lord standing ahead of you.
If you walk looking only to the Lord
who stands on the narrow way,
the footprints once trodden by those who triumphed by faith
you will naturally come to tread,
and in great faith, in a blessed place,
you will be able to see the Lord always.
