The Road Believers Walk

Do you know how believers must live in this world?
If you knew it, you would never look at the world.
High on a cliff where even one step is hard to take,
the ones walking carefully along — they are the believers.
Afraid of falling to the bottom of the cliff,
the believers walked with care; toward them
Satan began to play the pipe of the world’s temptation,
and many people danced to that pipe
until they fell to the bottom of the cliff.
They should have come looking only at me, ahead of them,
but because their eyes and ears were open toward the world,
they were taken in by temptation and danced.
Without a whole heart and a whole faith,
it will be hard for anyone at all to survive.
