Do Not Judge

I do not sort people into good and bad.
I only came to die for all people.
If I had sorted the good from the bad and saved them that way,
there would not have been a single soul in this world to be saved.
So I saved even the robber on my right, hearing only his confession of faith,
and I forgave the disciples who left me.
When I do not sort people into good and bad,
why do you divide them into the good and the evil?
Salvation is not your doing; it is mine.
You only pray for the souls entrusted to you and share the gospel with them,
no more and no less—remember that.
Even one who seems evil to you must also be saved.
Even as I forgive you, so you also forgive.
And you must pray that they will be saved.
Take this to heart.
The good and evil in people that I have not judged
you can never judge.
For a soul that does not come back though you share the gospel and pray,
I will not hold you responsible;
but if, when I have entrusted souls to you,
you do not pray and do not share the gospel,
I will surely hold you to account.
