A Tree That Helps Souls

There was a huge tree bearing the fruit of people’s talents.
It is a tree that helps people to be praised by God
and to grow beautifully.
The tree keeps safe the talents people have thrown away,
and when people who have realized how precious their talents are
ask for what is theirs,
it tells them to step on it, climb up, and take their own fruit.
People also call this tree Christ.
Now I too am going to climb up and bring back the fruit of my talent.
But it is so thick and so big that I am afraid I will slip as I climb.
Then something truly wondrous happened.
When I, who had been afraid, took courage and grasped the tree,
the tree instead bent down so that I could climb it easily.
When I got up there, there really were fruits of talent in many shapes.
But there is nothing to worry about,
for the tree put the fruit of my talent into my hand.
Now I too, like this tree, want to become a tree
that helps other souls.
First I must give thanks to the rock that enabled me to put down my roots.
And so that many souls may bear beautiful fruit of the soul
with ease, I must help them with a glad heart.
And first I must give thanks to him.
