The Crown of Thorns

Satan thought that if he put a great crown of thorns on me,
I would suffer more shame, more pain,
and with that thought he put the crown of thorns on me;
but when I rose again in glory,
the crown of thorns became a great symbol of glory forever.
Just as he tried to hinder my work of salvation,
would Satan leave a growing church or my child alone?
When this trial is over, everyone, with joy,
will mature and grow.

Just as I bore the cross in silence,
you too, be still and obey.
Satan’s mission
is to make my children angry.
