Obedience and Blind Obedience

You say you will devote yourselves to God,
yet you follow blindly and are left in conflict;
this is never true obedience.
Blind obedience is zealous for the unrighteous and the righteous alike,
but obedience is zealous only for what is righteous.
That is why devoting yourselves to the word of Jesus Christ
is the fruit of obedience and the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
You mistake your own zeal for obedience,
but you must know that human faithfulness
and sanctified faithfulness are not the same.
