The Fragrance of Cosmos Flowers

Have you seen the cosmos flowers
grown as tall as you are?
Have you seen how people
rejoice at their blossoms?
I raise up even a flower as lowly as this
and make it win people’s praise;
and you, whom I chose and set in your place,
are my child, dearer than any flower.
Have you ever seen the air?
Have you ever seen salvation?
Showing the things that are not as though they were
is my power.
All you have to do is trust me
and do your very best where you are.
Then people will catch the fragrance of Christ
rising from you, and they will praise me.
